A: We believe cooking should feel empowering, not intimidating. Our classes are designed to help people build confidence, learn practical skills, and genuinely enjoy time in the kitchen.
Q:Are your courses designed for beginners?
A: All Gastronomy Kitchen courses are designed to make every level of home cook
comfortable. Instructors will take their time in ensuring that every participant gets the most our of our courses and never feels pressured.
Q:Do I need to have a lot of cooking experience prior to taking a course?
A: Not at all! Our courses are designed for all skill levels. We do offer a Culinary Boot camp
for home cooks who would like to start with a great foundation.
Q:How long are classes?
A: Courses last between an hour and a half to two hours.
Q:What should I wear to Gastronomy Kitchen?
A: We would prefer everyone wear closed toe, comfortable shoes to our
culinary courses. Please no loose or dangling jewelry.
Q:Are courses hands on or demonstration based?
A: Every course is a blend of both. Every course is majority hands-on, however
instructors will demonstrate methods and techniques when needed.
Q:Do I get to enjoy the food we prepare at Gastronomy Kitchen?
A: Absolutely! Every course is designed to entertain, enlighten and to feed.
Q:What course is best for someone completely new to cooking?
A: We suggest our Gastronomy Boot Camp. This course is a deep dive into the science and techniques that are a great starting point.

Q:Are Gastronomy Kitchen classes vocational and career focused?
A: They are not. Our focus is igniting the passion in everyday cooks. However, there is so much we teach that can be used professionally.
Q:What does "Life Skills Culinary" mean?
A: "Life Skills Culinary" is a dedication to our clients future. Everything from knife skills to the proper cooking of protein and so much more are skills that are useful for a lifetime.
Q:Are ingredients and equipment included in the courses?
A: Yes! All is required is closed-toe shoes, an empty stomach, and hunger for learning.

Q:How many people are included in a group course?
A: We offer group courses for up to 12 people.
